Saratoga Rowing Association alum, Yale grad and Olympic hopeful Kristi Wagner took time out to return to Saratoga Springs to take part in the Saratoga Reads program talking about the film "A Hero for Daisy" and about her career.

Florida's Benderson Park site of next three year's state champs

Nathan Benderson Park will host the next six state rowing championship regattas, park officials announced Monday.
The Florida Scholastic Rowing Association, the governing body for youth rowing in Florida, signed a three-year contract with Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, the operating nonprofit of Nathan Benderson Park.
Each event will bring an estimated 1,500 to 3,000 youth rowers and their families.

Tulsa Rowing Club victim of arson at boathouse

Vandals apparently are to blame for a fire at the Tulsa Rowing Club boathouse in West Tulsa Sunday night.
The fire started after an apparent break-in and when the fire was extinguished half of the structure was destroyed.

The granddaddy of all indoor erg championships, the 2016 C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints will be held on Sunday, February 28th at Boston University’s Agganis Arena.
The C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints is a one-day event with racing scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Crusader Erg Challenge Jan. 31

The Annual Crusader Erg Challenge is an indoor erg race held at Canisius High School, 1180 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14209.
The Crusader Erg Challenge is Buffalo's permier indoor compeition, with individual and team events.
There is a large spectator area, with ample seating, and two large projection screens for supporters to cheer their athletes on, as well as a concessions stand for post competition nourishment.
