US Rowing NE/Mid-Atlantic masters champs at Onondaga Lake this summer

US Rowing announced that the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic regional masters championship in masters rowing to the lake on June 28.
This will be a boon for the Syracuse economy and will be hosted by the Syracuse Chargers Rowing Club.

C.R.A.S.H.-B registration ends midnight Feb. 2

Don't miss out on your chance to compete in the 2015 C.R.A.S.H.-Bs March 1 in Boston.
The registration deadline IS midnight, Feb. 2 with no extensions, exceptions or "my coach was supposed to register me."

Coastal Rowing in U.S. could be a part of FISA 2018 championships

UNIVERSITY PARK -- As the 2017 World Rowing Championships approach, international and U.S. Rowing officials came to check up on Nathan Benderson Park's progress.

FISA (World Rowing Federation or Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d'Aviron) executive director Matt Smith said he comes to the park every six months to see the progress.

"We are happy to see such detailed plans for the finish tower," Smith said of one of the park's additions that still needs to be constructed.

Port Rowing kicks off indoor sprints with Gold Coast Classic

Friends of Port Rowing will be hosting it's third annual Gold Coast Classic Feb. 1 in the Paul D. Schreiber High School gymnasium located at 101 Campus Drive in Port Washington.

Teams are invited to get a final tuneup before the C.R.A.S.H 's. Events range from Middle School up through Master's. This year we are adding a Mixed Fitness challenge for all who can complete it - the fastest 1000m erg followed by 50 squats & 50 pushups, 500m erg followed by 50 squats & 50 pushups, and then 100m erg.
